Public Playground + Park
Designed, Modeled and Rendered using Rhino 6 + Google Sketchup
This personal project began purely as a playground design inspired by industrial equipment including crates and minimalist structures. The design later expanded to include more amenities.
The model includes parking spaces, boardwalks, seating, shallow planting (carex secta), canopy trees (Cordyline australis, Rhopalostylis sapida), deciduous trees, turf, bollard and street lighting, access to tram+bus lanes, toilet blocks, shade and fencing.
This park space concept was inspired by Christchurch’s city centre and as such included the heritage tram line which passes through Oxford Terrace and Cashel Mall.
